Took the time to visit the Univ of Illinois and Univ of Cincinnati campus' during fall break. On Friday, a recruiting assistant took my dad and I on a private tour of the football complex at U of IL Great traditions there. Was amazed to learn about the great football players that used to roam the hallways.. Butkus, Grange, Nitschke, Halas, among others. On Saturday, we traveled to Cincinnati to see their facilities. Very impressed by their football complex where the weight room, medical facilities, study hall and computer rooms were all located in one building. The game, however, was a bit of a downer. Wish I had seen them use their tight ends more effectively.
